- Your contact list or address book
- Your voicemails or voice recordings
- Any content from WhatsApp, Telegram, or other apps
All scam detection happens on your device using on-device AI. Your conversations never leave your phone.
What We Do Collect
When you sign up for NoScam, we collect:
- Email address — to create your account and send important updates
- Device type — to ensure compatibility (e.g., "Android 15")
- Country — to comply with regional regulations
This information is stored securely and never sold to third parties.
How We Protect Unknown Numbers
NoScam only analyzes communications from unknown numbers — numbers that are not saved in your contacts. If someone is in your contact list, we never process their calls or messages.
This means:
- Calls from your mom → Not touched
- Messages from your bank (if saved) → Not touched
- Unknown caller → Analyzed for scam patterns
On-Device Processing
All scam detection is performed by AI running locally on your device. This means:
- No data is sent to our servers
- Detection works offline
- Faster response times
- Complete privacy
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how people use our website (not the app). This includes:
- Page views
- Button clicks
- General location (country level)
We do not track individual users across the web or sell this data.
Third-Party Services
Our website uses:
- Meta Pixel — for measuring ad effectiveness
- Supabase — for storing signup information securely
